There are a number of undiscovered beaches in Aceh Besar as well. These beaches provide stunning, unusual scenery. Momong Beach is one of them. This beach is unique due to its environment, which is characterized by tall cliffs. This beach is uncommonly known due to its distinctiveness and because it is concealed by a hill. In fact, dirt and stone roads must be "fought" to reach this location.
Momong Beach is situated in the Lhoknga District of Aceh Besar, in Meunasah Balee. From Banda Aceh City, it takes around 45 minutes to get here. From the paved road, proceed through the dark, rocky, and narrow trail for another 800 meters. At the intersection leading to Momong Beach, the manager had constructed a signboard when we arrived. Visitors only have to pay parking and a charge of IDR 5k to take in its splendor. The public can visit this Momong Beach tourist attraction from 8:00 AM till 2:00 PM local time. Despite the challenging terrain, the sensation of exhaustion paid off as we reached Momong Beach with its lovely beauty.
