As one of the beach resorts on the island of Bali, Kuta beach is the heart of Bali tourism, and maybe Kuta is the most famous tourist spot in Bali.
If the Sanur beach in Bali is more suitable for the location to see the sunrise, it is different from Kuta beach which is more suitable for seeing the sunset.
The coastline in Kuta Bali has a stretch of 5 kilometers and I can say the best coastline on the island of Bali. The stretch of coastline is very gentle, also the shoreline is very wide with a fine white sand texture. This beach is very safe for vacation spots, and the cleanliness of the beach is also maintained. Therefore, even though the stretch of coastline is so long, it is always filled with tourists.
Apart from being a tourist spot, Kuta Bali beach is often used as a shooting location for television series for young people in Indonesia. Local beach boys sometimes get involved. They are assigned as supporting roles. Unfortunately, taking pictures is often interrupted because the beach is always crowded with visitors.
Currently, in addition to Kuta Bali beach, the beach that is often visited by domestic tourists is the Pandawa beach in Bali.
Most Indonesian tourists who vacation to Kuta beach, will walk around the beach. Towards sunset, many tourists will look for a seat on the beach while enjoying a cold drink.
In the afternoon, tourists who stay around Kuta usually take a walk to the beach to just sunbathe, while enjoying the sunset. If the weather is sunny, the sun will set around 18.00.
Access to the beach is very easy to pass by motorized vehicles, either using taxis or private vehicles. You can use a motorbike or a car. However, if you take a bus, passengers must stop at the Kuta central parking area and you have to take a shuttle to the Kuta beach location in Bali.

Finding motorbike and car rental services on the island of Bali is very easy. But the easiest way is to use a search engine like Google. The cost of renting a motorbike on the island of Bali is around IDR 100,000 – IDR 200,000 for 24 hours.
Using Private Car
As for car rentals in Bali by driving yourself, you will be charged a rental fee of around Rp. 175,000 – 300,000/24 hours. The rental price depends on the type of car you want to use.
For vehicle parking fees, a parking fee of Rp. 5,000/car will be charged and for motorbikes a parking fee of Rp. 2,000/motorcycle.

Parking area for cars on the side of the road adjacent to the beach is very limited. Therefore, if you want to use a car while on vacation to Kuta beach, you should use a car rental service with a driver in Bali or use a taxi.
To avoid severe traffic jams, during the New Year celebrations, the local traditional village government will block the road for motorized vehicles to go to the beach location.
